Who and what is COGAB?
COGAB (CARL O GROMER AB) was the first Swedish company to import recycled old wood into Sweden. The year was 1992. And it came from Lübeck in Germany. Recycled old wood is called RT-flis® in Sweden, a trade mark registered by COGAB.
The trade mark name is so widely used throughout Sweden that it has become synonymous with recycled old wood. The availability of RT-flis® in continental Europe has gone down drastically in recent years and today COGAB is also getting RT-flis® from Swedish recycling plants. Other renewable fuels imported by COGAB include dried and sorted household waste, cut car tires, dried olive stones, peat pellets and sawmill waste. We also supply fresh wood chips from Swedish forests.
